What a great
surprise! The newest decals from Czech manufacturer Tally Ho! are
here and cover famous Focke Wulf Fw 190 A-3 and A-4. The set
in 1/48 scale sells under number 48 036 and 1/72 scale under number 72
045. There are 5 options in this set.
1. Fw
190 A-4 W.Nr.583 , "White 10", 1./JG 1, Deelen airfield,
Holland, early summer 1943. Flown by Ofw. Fritz Husser member of 8./JG
1.
2. Fw 190
A-3 W.Nr. unknown "Black <~", Stab I./JG 51, field airstrip
on icebound Ivan lake, West of Moscow, Eastern front, USSR, winter
1942/43. Great example of winter camouflage with upper surfaces covered
with temporary white paint.
3. Fw 190
A-4, W.Nr.142310, "Black 2", 2./JG 54, Uffz. Helmut Brandt,
Ladoga lake area, Eastern front, USSR, January 1943. The pilot was
forced down by Soviet fighters on January 13th, 1943 and crash-landed on
the ice covered Ladoga lake. This aircraft is a great example of well
worn winter camouflage.
4. Fw 190
A-4, W.Nr.0750.?, "Black <-", II./JG 2, Gruppenkommandeur
Oblt. Adolf Dickfeld, Karouian, Tunis, North Africa, December 1942. Oblt.
Dickfeld was a Luftwaffe fighter ace credited with 136 aerial victories.
5. Fw 190
A-4, W.Nr.142310 Ex"Black 2" - first Fw 190 captured by the
Soviets. Aircraft retained German winter camouflage, only the insignias
and unit emblems were repainted and red stars added. All of the original German
insignias and emblems were visible under the thin white paint. This one
is a special treat for unique markings lovers!
The sheets
are in perfect register, all the units emblems are well detailed, W.Nr.
(serial numbers) finely printed. English instruction sheet
