"Random Thoughts"  Magazine is put out by IPMS Canada (International Plastic Modellers Society of Canada) and is sent to all IPMS Canada members.  "Random Thoughts"  is a bimonthly magazine, in English, containing 24 pages of photos, drawings, kit reviews, model conversion articles, hints n' tips, wants and disposals, and other items of interest. All content is provided by the members, for the members. As an added membership bonus, every now and then they send out a free special project item with your magazine.  This particular issue came out in Mar 30 2006 and it has the typically pleasing variety of articles.
This particular issue features a full build article by Wayne Hui building the CT-114 Tutor using the 1/48 Hobbycraft kit.  Wayne begins his article with the history of the Tutor amd then goes on to build his model with endless scratchbuilt details.  Wayne adds amazing scratchbuilt detail to every area of this model and finishes it off in Canadian markings.  His article includes some very good scratchbuilding tips.
For armour modellers, Don Barclay includes his 1/35 Canadian Centaur 95mm using the Tamiya kit.  Don includes history on the Canadian Centaur 95mm and then goes on to describe his build in detail.  Don adds photo etch and scratchbuilt detail to his Centaur and finishes it off with flawless weathering.  His article includes colour photos.
Vic Scheuerman includes walkaround photos on the CT-114 Tutor.  Including landing gear, air brakes, flaps, canopy, tail markings and other details including text to describe the details in the photos.

Another enjoyable issue full of variety.
