This new hard cover book is written by owner of IsraDecal and noted  Israeli Air Force modeller Ra'anan Weiss and Alon Koren.  This soft-cover book that contains over 520 never before published photographs and 14 specially commissioned color profiles on 130 glossy pages.

This informative photo rich book covers the fascinating and poignant story of the F-15's in Israeli Air Force service from the mid 70's right up to the present day.

This book is rich in photos of the F-15 in all the areas that interest modellers....including history and in-flight photos as well as the walkaround photos modellers crave so much.

But for me, one page stood out and showed how far the Israeli Air Force has come since it's birth.

The book covers the following areas.

  1. The early years and initial training.
  2. The pilots.
  3. The aerial combats over Lebanon in which over 50 Syrian Air Force MiG-21/23/25 variants were shot down between 1979 and 1985.
  4. The longest combat mission of the IAF. The 1985 attack against the PLO in Tunis.
  5. Photo - Reconnaissance F-15's for vertical and oblique photography.
  6. Experimental camouflage and 'aggressor' color schemes.
  7. Weapon systems.
  8. Cockpits and walk - around.
  9. Overseas deployments.

The final section is 14 colour pages containing 107 colour photos covering the cockpit, exhausts, pods underside details, weapons, and the airframe.
