Product # 001

--------------------

This new decal sheet from KPM Prešov Decals includes markings for eight different 1/72 helicopters in civilian service.  I'm not sure how many models you can build with the stencils provided but it looks like you can build four of the helicopters featured on this sheet.  One of the choppers....the red and white Agusta A109K2 air ambulance operated by Air Transport Europe that includes five different sister ships on this one decal sheet.  Four of these air ambulances have female names painted on them in small script next to the cabin door.  The female names include Andrea, Marla, Lara and Tatiana, so if your lady has one of these 4 names....then you should definitely buy this sheet.

I have a fascination with civilian choppers....especially since I spent a week in hospital with my young daughter years ago without much to do but look out our hospital room window at the nearby helipad as the air ambulance came and went with it's precious cargo of sick and injured people.  So the air ambulance on this sheet has my attention.  But there is also 3 other choppers worth looking at.

The other choppers include;

  • A blue and white Mil Mi-8T operated by Tech-mont.
  • A red and white Mil Mi-8T operated by Air Transport Europe.
  • A green and white Bell 206 Jet Ranger operated by Flight Service.

The instructions are clear and include between 1 and 3 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet...this is 1/72 so the tiny stencils aren't readable.....but the font is super tiny so I'm not surprised.....but these stencils do look very clear regardless.

This is an especially interesting decal sheet because it is  for choppers and it's non-military....which is a pleasant change.
