1/48 NeOmega Su-25 cockpit set

--------------------

This NeOmega set is recommended to use on Su-25 OEZ/REVELL.  On the OEZ kit, the detail of the cockpit and ejection seat is very badly done.  It is very difficult to replicate the detail of the real Su-25.  There are many pipes, devices and other details that make up the cockpit interior, which you will not see in the OEZ kit. The few good parts in the OEZ cockpit are - lateral parties of boards, though Engraving here is very soft, spreading. The lateral panels of the Neomega set have more details and fine engraving.

The NeOmega cockpit set  includes a magnificent ejection seat K-36DM.  This is the best replica of this seat I have ever seen.  All other resin seats of the K-36 fail to match the level of detail of the NeOmega seat.  The only thing you'll need to do is to bend a double ring from copper wire to place between the pilot's legs. The stabilizers - parachutes in cylindrical containers are provided separately. The back part of the cockpit is very well made covering all details and is very similar to the original!

I did not like the basic instrument panel.  The guages here are barely visible, as compared to the level of detail on sets Black Box.  A solution to this problem is to  replace this panel with a detail set from Eduard or a modeler could drill shallow holes in place of the dials and then paint them and fill with Clearfix or a similar product. The resin set also includes a pilots joystick.

The resin part under the windshield that holds the HUD is also worthy of admiration. Here you'll find perfect detail as well as many pipes and wires etc.  During assembly, it will only be necessary for you to add a lens for the HUD.

The floor of the cockpit includes rudder pedals, as well as rod and other detail that is beautifully made with lovely detail.

Above an armchair of the pilot the board from the easy reservation settles down, it is given by a separate detail from the correct form. When the cabin is open, this board too is open.

Using such a cockpit set as this, it would be logical to build your Su-25 with an open canopy, so as to permit admiring eyes to stop and enjoy all the detail.
