--------------------

This new decal sheet from Zotz Decals includes markings for two different 1/32 P-47 Razorback Thunderbolts in the PTO.

The first P-47 is P-47D-23 "Bonnie" flown by Maj. Bill Dunham, CO of the 460thFS/348th FG in Leyte, Philippines in Dec 1944.  This aircraft is natural metal overall with black fuselage and wing stripes and quite the large number of victory markings.  The rudder has red horizontal stripes.

The second P-47 is P-47D-2 "Miss Mutt" flown by Lt. Col Dick Rowland, CO of the 348th FG in Port Moresby, New Guinea in Nov 1943.  This aircraft is Olive Drab on top and Neutral Gray on the underside with a white tail and five victory markings.  The tail has a yellow tip at the top and main wing leading edges are white.  The sexy nose art is of a cute blonde (see image below).

The instructions are clear and include 3 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 4 decal sheet.  One complete set of stencils is included on this decal sheet.  I must admit I'm partial to the more colourful markings from WW2 and sexy noseart is one of the more personal creative aspects to WW2 aircraft and I find both of these aircraft quite appealing.

Another winner of a decal sheet from Zotz Decals that remembers the P-47 from the War in the Pacific.
