This new decal sheet from Fightertown Decals includes markings for 4 different 1/72 F-14F's with VF-154 Black Knights.  

There is a long list of people that helped on this sheet including Mike Pister, LCDR Richard Silva and other members of VF-154, Tony Holmes, Takafumi Hirde and Andy Mullen.  Well done Guys!!!  

The 4 aircraft includea hi-viz jet and some line jets that include quite a few with bomb mission markings as well as one jet lost in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. 

• F-14 VF-154 Black Knights #101 BuNo161276.  Markings are the hi-viz black markings with red highlights.  45 total bombs dropped.

• F-14 VF-154 Black Knights #103 BuNo161293.  Markings are the lo-viz dark gray markings.  51 total bombs dropped. 

• F-14 VF-154 Black Knights #104 BuNo158620.  Markings are the lo-viz dark gray markings.  Lost in Iraq due to engine failure and fuel transfer problems.  Crew ejected and was rescued.  14 total bombs dropped. 

• F-14 VF-154 Black Knights #107 BuNo161296.  Markings are the lo-viz dark gray markings.  32 total bombs dropped and the only VF-154 A/C to fire it's gun.

The instructions are clear and include multiply views of each aircraft.  There is also weapons loadout information included in the instruction sheets.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet and include loadout decals and landing gear and helmet decals.  The quality of the decals is first rate. 

The F-14 will always be a popular jet that will continue to have a large following and it's good to see markings for the VF-154 Black Knights F-14's.
