This new decal sheet from Fightertown Decals includes markings for 3 different 1/48 F-18E's and F-18F's with VX-23.

The 3 aircraft include one CAG jet in hi-viz markings and 2 line jets in lo-viz markings. 

• F-18F VX-23 Salty Dog 123 BuNo166812 in Nov '07 - mid '08.  Markings include red/white/blue tails.

• F-18E VX-23 Salty Dog 400 BuNo165537 in Early '03 - Late '04.  Markings are in black and include all those endless test spot markings.

• F-18F VX-23 Salty Dog 122 BuNo166658 in Sept '05.   Markings are in black.

The instructions are clear and include multiply views of each aircraft.  There is also weapons loadout information included in the instruction sheets.  The decals are beautifully printed on 2 decal sheets and 2 smaller insert sheets and include ejection seat, landing gear and helmet decals and the exhaust covers.  Plus you get 2 sets of formation lights and a set of data markings. The quality of the decals is first rate. 

These Test Jets look pretty wild, especially if you choose the one with all the test spot markings that go all over the airframe.....definitely is unique and eye catching.
