This new decal sheet from Fightertown Decals includes markings for 3 different 1/48 F-18F's with VFA-103 Jolly Rogers....including Santa Cat markings.  

The 4 aircraft include aircraft #103 at three different times in it's operational career as well as aircraft #200....all in hi-viz markings.  One version of #103 has it wearing the Santa Cat candy cane Christmas markings/artwork. 

• F-14B (Upgrade) VF-103 Jolly Rogers CO jet 103 BuNo161435 during the 2000 cruise.  Markings are the hi-viz black markings with white highlights.

• F-14B (Upgrade) VF-103 Jolly Rogers CO jet 103 BuNo161435 in Dec 2000.  Markings are the hi-viz black markings with white highlights.

• F-14B (Upgrade) VF-103 Santa Cat Jolly Rogers CO jet 103 BuNo161435 in 2001.  Markings are the hi-viz black markings with white highlights.

• F-14B VF-84 Jolly Rogers jet 200 BuNo162688 in Aug 1991 during Operational Desert Storm.  Markings are the hi-viz black markings with white highlights.

The instructions are clear and include multiply views of each aircraft and include the colour codes called out in FS #'s.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet with 1 insert decal sheet.   The quality of the decals is first rate. 

I am VERY pleased to see someone willing to take a chance on producing decals in 1/144 scale.  There is no doubt the numbers of modellers in this scale are limited, but even 1/144 scale modellers need to be able to build a Santa Cat F-14.
