The quality of the resin casting is flawless and bubble free.  This cockpit set covers all the areas on the Ar-196 that are just begging for some super detailing.  Aires has devoted plenty of time to adding detail to the areas that will really show very well on your completed model.  The instructions are well laid out and easy to follow.  Some PE parts in this set will be required to be glued to the clear canopy, but fumes from CA glue will fog canopies, so coat your canopy in future before you try to CA glue these parts to the canopy.

This set is very inclusive and adds detail to many areas of the Ar-196 and is well worth picking up for super detailing your next Ar-196.  I'm quite impressed by this detail set.

You can purchase this and other fine resin detail items directly from Aires or from the many retailers that carry their products.  A list of some of those retailers can be found here.

I would like to thank Aires for providing me with this review sample.
