SAAB
A32A Lansen 32280 "32 Gamma" was fitted with a Viggen
nose for testing purposes and has a very unique profile with it's
longer nose. You can see it in the photo above, left column, 2nd
aircraft from the top. A conversion set will be available for
this special nose.
-
Two
other aircraft were used for testing and have large day glo numbers on
their tail.
-
SAAB
A32A Lansen 32194 had the standard paint scheme but the tail was white
with a large orange triangle with a white plane in the triangle.
This aircraft was used for airshows and the white tail was repainted
after each airshow as it was not approved by higher officers.
-
3
aircraft have day glo orange paint inside the airbrakes.
-
2

This decal sheet
captures a large variety of SAAB
A32A Lansen aircraft all in one
package. The decals are a very high quality and very clearly
printed. You do not get national insignia, so you'll have to use the
ones that come with the Tarangus model kit. The
instructions include 23 pages with one colour profile for each aircraft
and top and bottom line drawings with further info on painting and decal
placement. You only get one view of the camo layout for the 2
aircraft wearing experimental camo schemes, so you will need further
references or some artistic license to build those jets. The
instructions also include a paragraph of information on each aircraft on
this decal sheet.
This decal sheet really is one
stop shopping if you are looking for a vast selection of different
markings for the new 1/48 Tarangus model kit. I was quite impressed
by the variety of different paint schemes and markings on this decal
sheet.
You can buy this decal sheet and
many other resin, photo etch and decal sheets relating to Swedish aviation
directly from Maestro
Models.
