The Royal Malaysian Air Force - TUDM has flown a large variety of aircraft in it's history and the modellers in Malaysia are an active bunch that are keen to build models of the aircraft flown by the TUDM.  It has always been difficult to find decal sheets and markings to build Malaysian aircraft often requiring custom made decals.

Some of the modellers in Malaysia including Shah Zain and Brian Param have responded to this need and come out with a multi-scale decal sheet designed to permit modellers to piece together the needed Generic Insignia and Codes to complete their Royal Malaysian Air Force models.

The 2 pages of instructions include placement and orientation of the national insignia and serial numbers.  The decals are beautifully printed on 4 decal sheets and include serial numbers in black and white in different fonts and sizes.  In 2005 the national insignia and fin flashes were changed and this decal sheet includes both types.  You get different sizes of tri-colour stripes that can be cut to make fin flashes for any aircraft you are modelling.  The instruction sheets also lists 46 aircraft flown the the Royal Malaysian Air Force since it's beginnings in 1956 and which serial numbers were used on each type of aircraft. All this information is contained on the instruction sheets.  The internet can provide you with reference photos to help you get everything right on your TUDM model.

I've included a tiny selection of aircraft flown by the Royal Malaysian Air Force to give you an idea of some of the possibilities that can be made with this decal sheet.

You can buy this decal sheet by e-mailing Shah Zain or Brian Param and payment is by Paypal and postage is at cost.

I would like to thank Brian Param for providing me with this product sample.
