Sascha "Suomiuna" Novakovic starts today with a very special display.  This is the 1/72 LMResin & Yumo SOKO Galeb G2 &Super Galeb G4 with scratch built ladders and towbars and aftermarket bombs and missiles.  I love the star shaped display base for these Yugoslav aircraft.

David Rapasi has done a wonderful job on fading the paint job on his 1/48 Accurate Miniatures A 36-A Apache. David chose a sun bleached Apache from Italy in the Spring of 1944.  Perfect...simply perfect.

Fazaeli Adrian did a beautiful job detailing and finishing his 1/32 Tamiya F-4J Phantom II.  Fazaeli  added a Seamless Intake Set + Tire set plus Eduard photo etch details. This is one amazing Phantom that I know you will enjoy seeing photos of it.

Polly Singh gets things started in style today with his sharp looking 1/72 Airfix Spitfire Mk. V Floatplane.  Polly used aftermarket floats from PM and then finished his Spit with paint chipping for added realism.  This is one very graceful looking floatplane.

Dragan Cvetic is here with his very attractive looking 1/48 Eduard MiG-21 MF in Iraqi Air Force markings. Dragan added a weapons loaded and decals from Linden Hill to complete this beauty.  Enjoy all the photos.

Matevz Mevzelj has done a first class job detailing an finishing this 1/72 Hobbyboss SH-60B.  Matevz added Eduard photo etch and scratchbuilt the avionics bay as well as added further detail.  The finished Seahawk looks excellent and I know you'll enjoy seeing the photos of it.

Peru Independence Day

Giuseppe Santaromita gets things started today with an article that was intended for the Peruvian Independence Day.  This is his 1/72 Hobby Boss Mi24 Hind which is very nicely done and finished as a Aztec decals for Peruvian Hind using Aztec decals.  It's quite interesting to see a Hind in Peruvian markings.

Giuseppe Santaromita is here with his very nicely done 1/72 Hobby Boss Mi17.  Giuseppe custom made decals so he could finish his Mi17 in Peruvian markings.  I love the look of the camo scheme on this chopper.

Liberia Independence Day

Luis Picalua has been busy turning his 1/72 MPM XF-85 Goblin into a stunning model of this odd little post war interceptor prototype.  Luis cleaned up flaws in the model before giving it a flawless BMF with Alclad II.  Have a close look at the scratchbuilt trolley...it is amazing.

Gregor de Ste Croix has taken the classic 1/48 Monogram P-47D Thunderbolt and rescribed the raised panel lines and add extra detailing before finishing it in the markings for a very colorful decorated American Ace.  Thankfully Gregor has included the wartime story if this American Ace....it is quite the interesting read and a beautiful P-47.  

Shawn "phantom" Weiler has gone to town on his 1/48 Hasegawa F-4E Phantom #167.  Shawn added Eduard photoetch in the cockpit, resin seats a metal nose probe and resin strike camera from Wolfpack resin.  All these aftermarket goodies were pulled together with skill to create this very attractive South Korean Phantom.  Beautiful work Shawn.

Harv has done a first class job on his 1/32 Sky Pilots Sea King 50th.  This isn't the best quality kit, but Harv pulled it all together into a stunning model complete with custom made markings for a 50th Anniversary Sea King in Canada.  Beautiful work Harv...I'm sure the recipient of this model will feel quite honoured.

Kit joins us with a first class looking 1/48 Hobby Boss A-10 Thunderbolt II.  Kit added the Aires cockpit and finished his Warthog with custom painted sharks mouth and a very well done camo scheme.  This is one excellent looking A-10.

Waldemar Pupar starts today with his excellent looking 1/72 Revell Eurofighter. Waldemar finished his Royal Air Force Typhoon with a very attractive camo and a  with a full weapons load.  I love the look of this Typhoon.

Ramon R. Lomeli has done a marvelous job detailing and finishing his 1/48 ProModeler Fw-190G3.  Ramon explains how he built the excellent looking diorama base for his 190.  These whole scene looks very realistic.

Artur Oslizlo/Arkady72 is here with a very special model today.  This is his 1/48 FLY Jet Provost T.5 in RAF markings and just the perfect amount of weathering to bring his jet to life.

Egypt National Day

Antonio “Coyote Jr." Quiros Ibieta joins us from Chile with his amazing looking 1/48 Hasegawa P-47D Razorback.  Antonio did an amazing job weathering his P-47 and he discusses this in his article.  Enjoy the photos...this one is a beauty.

Guillermo Alfaro is here with his 1/72 Hasegawa Mirage F1 all dressed up in some very unique and eye catching tail art.  Guillermo custom made decals for 30th Anniversary markings for an Ecuadorian Air Force jet and I must say it is great looking tailart.

Phillip Steele joins us with his very attractive 1/72 Italeri Savoia Marchetti Marsupiale S.82.  Phillip went with a very cool looking camo scheme for his Italian transport airplane and for added detail he scratchbuilt the pitot tube.  Beautiful work Phillip, I really love the look of this one.

Michael Hickey has gone all out detailing his 1/48 HobbyBoss F/A-18+ Hornet.  Michael used goodies from Aires, Eduard, Hasegawa, OzMods plus plenty of scratchbuilt detailing and all finished of in the markings of An Australian Commanding Officer.  Wow...I love the details such as RBF tags etc.

Burt Gustafson is here with something very special today.  This is his 1/48 Tamiya P-51D Mustang in the markings of the legendary “Blue-Nosed Bastards of Bodney.  Burt is a master modeler and he got the bare metal finish on his Mustang looking fantastic....sit back and enjoy each photo of this beauty.

Warren Osborne did a stellar job finishing his brightly painted 1/72 Airfix Gnat.  Warren did a wonderful job with scale effect on the weathering which gave his model a very realistic look.  Warren got everything looking perfect on this one.

Artur Oslizlo/Arkady72 is here to start things in style with his flawless and highly detailed 1/48 KP Sukhoi Su-22UM3K.  Artur used the CiroModels conversion set and resin open wings and some Aerobonus weapons sets.  Artur wrapped all this up with an amazing weathering job and Iraqi markings from Aeromaster.  have a close look at the rusty boarding ladder...amazing work Artur. 

Orlando Sucre Rosales joins us from Caracas Venezuela with his amazing 1/72 Hasegawa DAP Beaufighter Mk. 21.  Orlando added resin porcupine exhausts from Quickboost and then did some intensive research regarding the shades of green used on the RAAF Beaufighters and he share this in his article.

Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with his bright green Japanese 1/48 Hasegawa F-4EJ or Phantom #166.  Shawn swapped the wings for J wings and used a "Kai" style fin and then chose some great looking Japanese markings from Model Alliance.  Shawn has kindly included other pics of his Japanese Phantoms in his article.

Iraq Republic Day

David Rapasi starts today with his flawless 1/48 Accurate Miniatures TBM-3 Avenger.  Dave did light weathering on his Atlantic Avenger and the paint scheme used in the anti-submarine role.  Simply lovely Dave.

Waldemar Pupar has done a flawless job on his 1/72 Revell Eurofighter. Waldemar finished his Typhoon as a Royal Air Force jet with a full weapons load.  Enjoy the photos...this one is a beauty.

Mohammad Adl joins us from sunny Iran with his very attractive 1/48 Revell Bell UH-1 Huey Hog.  Mohammad chose the eye catching  IRIF (Islamic Republic of Iran) camouflage and built this beauty in only 10 days...amazing.  I love it.

George D. Britnell is here with a stunning example of a Sky Lancers built using the 1/48 Monogram F-86 Sabre.  The decals for this great looking RCAF aerobatic jet came from Leading Edge Models and although this is one of the classic Monogram kit, it sure does build into a fine looking model.

Darren Snow is here with a beautifully done 1/48 Hasegawa Kittyhawk MkIII in the markings of the very famous New Zealand Ace and the highest scoring British Commonwealth ace in the Pacific theatre.  Darren dressed up the cockpit with Eduard seatbelts and added a pitot tube and finished it all off with a wonderful level of shading and weathering.

Kees Kuyper joins us from the ARC Corporate office in the Netherlands with his latest what-if beauty.  This is his Lockheed Superstarfighter which is a highly modified prototype of the Starfighter.  I love the look of this one....it is VERY creative......well done Kees.

Mongolia National Celebration Day

Narin has been very creative with his 1/72 X51-T Alphabrid what-if project.  This prototype aircraft is a combination of a P-51 Mustang and the Alpha Jet trainer and even includes an electric motor to save fuel.  Narin explains all this very well in his article.  I know you will enjoy seeing this very well done and creative design. 

Carmel J Attard is here with his world speed record 1/72 Airfix Hawker Hunter F Mk.3.  Carmel combined the Airfix kit with the Pavla resin set plus some added scratchbuilding to create a very unique Hunter model.  His article tell the history of the Mk.3 as well as the process to create a model of this unique and interesting aircraft.

Andrea Pomettini has done an amazing job detailing the 1/72 Hasegawa Fw-190D-9.  Andrea did a wonderful job adding scratchbuilt detail to the open gun compartment the the gun panel covers are made from metal foil for added accuracy and realism.  Have a good look at the photos of Andrea 's Fw-190....it is a beautifully detailed model.

Invasion of Sicily - Allied Landings at Sicily in 1943 

S K Loh is here with a very special and tiny 1/144 Academy IDF F-4E Kurnass 2000.  SK added extra detail and even scratchbuilt detail and finished it all off with custom made decals and a great looking Israeli camo scheme.  It is amazing how detailed these 1/144 jet can look.

Mark Maerz had a fun time getting creative on his 1/28 Revell 1917 Spad XIII Biplane - Snoopy's other plane.  Mark combined the classic Revell kit with a Snoopy head to create everyone's favourite fictional WW1 fighter pilot.  I know you're going to enjoy seeing his model and how he pulled it all together.

Lucian Capraru is here with his beautifully finished bare metal 1/72 Zvezda MiG-21 BIS.  Lucian went with Soviet markings complete with a  full weapons load.....this is one beautiful looking MiG-21.

Argentina Independence Day

Dragan Cvetic has shown much skill in building and detailing and finishing his 1/72 Hobbyboss MiG-15UTI.  Dragan scratchbuilt the instrument panels and seat belts and then finished off his MiG in a  great looking camo scheme.

Nicolas Hakime Fernandez dropped by the ARC Corporate offices on the Canary Islands with his absolutely stunning 1/48 Hasegawa Sea King.  Nicolas used conversion sets, aftermarket parts from many sources, scratchbuilt parts and decals from numerous sheet and pulled it all together with amazing skill to create this masterpiece.  Have a long look at the photos....this model is a work of art.

Louis Chang has used the Aires cockpit set, Verllinden engine upgrade sets and more scratchbuilt details to super detail his 1/48 Hasegawa P-38J Lightning.  Louis has included some great detail shots to show you how sweet the detail is on his P-38.

Bartosz Piotrowski has done a wonderful job on the classic 1/72 HELLER Caudron C-635 Simoun.  Bartosz has captured the look of the Caudron C-635 Simoun perfectly.....it a treat to see this rare aircraft.

Waldemar Pupar has done a beautiful job on his 1/72 Revell Eurofighter.   Waldemar's Typhoon is wearing the eye catching camo and markings of the Royal Saudi Air Force.  I love the look of this Typhoon.

Hal Marshman Sr. has been done a stellar job on his 1/48 Hasegawa Fw-190A-4.  Hal scratchbuilt some of the detail such as seatbelts, brake lines and cannons and then finished off the Fw-190 with a combination of decals with outstanding results.  Hal definitely turned out a beauty here today....I know you will enjoy seeing his photos.

Michal Sekula starts this update with the aircaaft of one of the big heros of the Soviet Union.  This 1/48 Trumpeter Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 is wearing the markings for Alexander Pokryshkin who was the pilot/leader that developed Russian aerial tactic in the early stages of WW2 to counter the superior Lufrtwaffe tactics.  Michal added Eduard photo etch as well as scratchbuilt detail to improve his MiG-3.  Beautiful work Michal.

Paolo De Sanctis has done a first class job on his 1/72 Italeri General Dynamics F-16B.  Paolo added a full weapons load and some great looking Tiger tailart.  He chose Dutch markings in honour of ARC regular John Smallbrugge

Fred Smith is here to WOW you in a big way with his 1/2500th Scale Warbird from the AMT Adversary kit. Fred pain stakingly installed all 660 fiber optics to light up his Romulan Warbird and I'm pleased to say he has included of photo of it all lit up....it looks outstanding.  The base is a wonderful touch.

    Happy 4th  to all the ARC Americans 

Burt Gustafson is here to begin the 4th of July celebrations with his smart looking 1/48 Trumpeter F9F-2 Panther.  This is a classic USN jet from the Korean War and Burt has done a wonderful job on it. Burt also tells some interesting history about the Panther.  I love the Panther Burt.

David Rapasi is here with his awesome 1/48 Accurate Miniatures TBM-3 Avenger.  David chose an avenger that served in the Philippines during the closing days of WW2.  His paint and weathering job adds so much realism to the very nice Accurate Miniatures kit.

Shawn "phantom" Weiler is here with his colorful 1/48 Hasegawa F-4B, Phantom #165 to mark the 4th.  Shawn used the Hasegawa kit with Revell bombs and aftermarket seats and finished it all off with markings for a USS Coral Sea jet with  VF-51 in 1972 from Furball decals.  It's a lovely Phantom Shawn....I am stunned you have 165 of these beauties on ARC....WOW!!!

Belarus Independence Day

James Court is here with his stunning 1/72 Execuform Bellanca Aircruiser.  James added an engine from Engines &Things and scratchbuilt the skis and finished it off as an Edmonton based aircraft using decals are from J-Bot.  This is one very cool looking plane and loaded with delicate detail. 

Thomas Lundgren has done a flawless job on the bare metal finish on his Royal Danish Air Force 1/48 Tamiya Republic F-84G Thunderjet.  Thomas  added Eduard and True Detail photo etch and finished off this beauty with decals from a Cutting Edge decal sheet and Stoppel Decal sheet.  I love the look of this Danish F-84 

Vladimir Zucha has done a beautiful job on his 1/72 Italeri C-27J Spartan Vladimir did an excellent job and finished it in Italian markings.....this is one very attractive looking model.

    Happy Canada Day to all the ARC Canucks 

Christophe Coudert  is here to get the Canada Day celebrations into full swing with his 1/48 Hobby Boss CF-188 HornetThis is a very special model because it is wearing the markings of his cousin who is fighter pilot in 409 Squadron from Cold Lake.  Christophe added a detail set from Wolfpack, got the markings from Wintervalley and completed the display with a pilot figure from Plusmodel mini and a photo of his cousin in front of his CF-188. This is a wonderful display. 

Ido Barnea has been very busy on his eye catching 1/72 Revell Lancaster BIII Special - Dambusters.  He added resin gun barrels from Quickboost and Eduard photo etch to add further detail and finished it all off with a great looking weathering job on the camo.  The crew of this Lancaster came from the RAF, RCAF and RAAF.

Shawn phantom Weiler is here on Canada Day is true style 1/48 Revell CF-18E.  Shawn has an eye on the future, so he picked a "What-if" scheme for his Canadian Super Hornet.  I love the look of it Shawn.
