1/72 Hasegawa F-16D(I) Brakeet

This model is in 1/72nd scale and uses the Hasegawa F-16D as it's starting point. The avionics hump and new air intake are from the DB range. All of the extra lumps and bumps for the EW suite are from plastic card/tube etc.

Ejector seats are Aeroclub, Harm's are from the Airfix weapons set. The wingtip Python 4 AAM's are scratch built from photographs using Contrail rod and tube for the bodies and .010" plastic-card for the fins.

Decals are from Aeromaster and the model is finished freehand with Humbrol super enamels.

This was quite an involved project once I got into it but I think the results are a very different looking addition to an F-16 line up and an aggressive looking Viper!
