Here are some
pictures of my last project, the prototype of the first Russian
swing-wing-aircraft
the Suchoi Su-7 IG, or S-22 I. This plane was a modified Su-7 B. Picture 9 shows
an original photo of this aircraft.

My model contains parts of
two kits: the fuselage was taken from the KoPro Su-7BKL kit and the wings
were taken from the KoPro Su-17 M4 kit. The instrument panel, the ejection
seat, the nozzle, the main gear and the flaps are selfmade. I also did some
modifications at the wings: of course the flaps, and the Su-17 wings got
two boundary layer fences, the S-22 I only one, so I removed the inner one.
It took at least
more than 2 months to build this plane. I'm very satisfied with the result. My
next big projects are a MiG-27 M, Mi-8T und Yak-38, all in 1/48...you will see
it first.
