I'm back again today with a bigger model. :-)
This is my Revell Bf 110 G2 / R 3 in 1:48 that I had to over come difficulties
during the build process. The model did have some fit issues around engine nacelles, but still, at a price of around 15, - € a it is
a great model. I have documented my build at this link complete with
cockpit photos, but the text is in German. http://www.wettringer-modellbauforum.de/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=31424

The model is built OOB and refined with a few
scratchbuilt parts. The cockpit itself requires no accessories, it is shaped very well.
I used a variety of painting techniques in the cockpit includieng drybrushing
the instrument panels. The antennas wires are made from plastic ear cleaner (Q-Tip in German) using the
"stretch sprue" technique.
I painted the model with RLM 74/75/76 using JPS Color Acrylics.
I weathered my model with watercolor paints from a school, graphite pencil dust, and the plume have been airbrushed with Gunze Hobby Color,
only a little rust, then black and fogged the base color again, being very fine about it.
The panel lines were pre-shaded with dark paint before I did the final painting.
The pictures with the swastikas are
especially made for ACC, as we show in Germany this any more, and no longer
allowed to act and so we in Germany are always looking for a procurement source
:-)
