Mirage F1 FAE, 30th Anniversary

This is a Hasegawa F1, I made it in FAE (Fuerza Airea Ecuatoriana) scheme for thematic contest. I wished to depict an uncommon model, so I did some research and I found the scheme that the FAE used to celebrate 30 years of service.

For this model I use Model Master paints, and since I didn't find any decals, I made mine from scratch using Testor decal paper and Corel Draw, was a exhausting work since I have to print first on normal paper measure and make adjustment before final printing.

I used Python IV/5 from Skunk Model Works, Matra Magic missile borrowed from a Heller kit (can't remember what kit), Matra 68mm rocket from Italeri weapons kit and finally the roundels and FAE markings from Aztec Decals from México (http://www.aztecmodels.com/

Below is a photo of the real plane.

Hope you like it and must important made a good representative scheme from a beautiful scheme.
