Here's some photos
of my FW 190 G8 I built from the 1/48 Revell kit. I was surprised by
how well the parts fit, built almost without a putty. I added
further detail with seat belts from Eduard, and for the gun barrels I used 0.8 mm and 0.6 mm
needles and the pitot tube is made from 0.4 mm and 0.2 mm brass needles.
The bomb racks and 50kg bomb originate from a Tamiya kit and the bubble canopy
comes from a Tamiya Fw 190 F8 kit.

Decals Commander Limited Edition 4805Fw. I painted my model with Gunze Hobby Color and Alclad Aluminum.
Yellow '14 ', belonging to Group II SG 2 or SG 10, and abandoned at Neubiberg.
It represents an example of the Fw 190F8 from the final production series. Upper surfaces were
camouflaged in RLM 75/76/81/83, while the undersides were painted in the common RLM 76, but not covering
the entire lower wing surface. As what the practice with the Fw 190D-9
at the end of the war, what RLM 76 applies from the leading edge to mid wing, with no paint in the rear half of the wing. Landing flaps, ailerons and the fuselage bottom were so
in RLM 76.
The bottom line is this
model was total joy, good fit and the price / performance can't beat any competitor (my price at E-Bay 6, - € ;-))
Greetings from Germany.
