  India Republic Day

Indian Air Force MiG 21 Bis

This is part of a MiG 21 group build for India's Republic day occasion. I used the venerable Czech KP kit which, though clunky and thick reasonably represents the MiG 21 Bis.

I added a Neomega cockpit set and Eduard PE set. The pilot is Aero Bonus.

Painted The markings for C2266 way back in 1986 when it served with No 32 Sqn "Thunderbirds". I have posed it in the mouth of a hardened aircraft shelter which is obviously shared by the swing wing MiG 23 BN.

The base is printed off the net. I used Vallejo products throughout.  The accessories consist of 1/35 armour crates, scratched tail chute, extra rocket pods and tissue tarpauline.
