Fw-190D-9, Red 1 

This is my Fw-190D-9 using the HobbyBoss 1/48th kit with decals from EagleCals.

The seatbelts/buckles, brake lines, ventral underside antenna, landing gear indicators, engine bearers, oil reservoir, and wingtip nav lights scratch built.  All guns are aluminum tubing, pitot tube also aluminum tubing with brass rod probe. Sliding canopy and head rest assembly from Hasegawa -A kit. 

Model Master RLM 75 and 76, with WEM RLM 83. 

Model depicts W. nr 210003 in Oct/44 when taken over by Oberleutnant Hans von Dortenman. This was the 3rd D-9 off the assembly line, and flew until May 5/ 1945 when blown up by Dortenmann. Longest serving operational 190D-9.
