OK, it's a 109; it's a Galland 109......there's plenty of
'em, but I needed one to replace the Emil that got smashed when I moved house.....so this is it :P
Have got this thing for engines out at the moment, so the only thing that isn't OOB is the plumbing and wiring - but that's because Eduard include a nice set of cockpit PE with the kit; which on the whole ain't bad. Some minor fit issues, but maybe that's because I was spoiled by Tamiya during the last (Spitfire) build.

Cartograf decals -as usual- are an absolute joy to work with. So too the Aztek plastic fantastic airbrush I've bought specifically for intricate camo schemes - with that little beauty I can do 1mm lines easily - less with a bit of concentration. Reckon the mottling on the sides of the fuselage came out a bit heavy, but that's my fault for not knowing when to stop. Weathered it with Tamiya smoke, pastel dust and silver pencil. Engine bay got a good oil wash.
