India Independence Day

This is a rather old Revell kit.  This model is depicted if from the Indian Air Force 47 squadron "Black Archers" in their "Red Scorchers" scheme at Chabua AFS.  This aircraft sported the special scheme for the visit of Air Chief Marshal D.A. La Fountaine during his tenure as CAS in 1986. He flew this aircraft during that visit.

Though its a very old kit and not much details, I did not have too many fit issues and putty was minimally used.  It was built OOB using Local Camel brand acrylic paints. Decals were self made and the archer hand painted.

Wishing everyone Happy Independence day "Jai Hind".
