MiG 21 PF converted to an Indian Air Force MiG 21 FL

This is the 1970s Revell kit I picked up for $20 at a small aviation Museum between Seattle and Squim.

I used a Pavla SKS-1 resin seat and a modified French Air force pilot and Johnnie Johnson's dog from the Master Box 'Famous WWII Pilots" set, the Ground crewman, ladder and R-13 missiles are from Trumpeters 1/32 MiG 21 MF. The rest are 1/35 Italeri German field workshop WW II and scratch. The scene depicts a 29 Sqn (Scorpions) pilot waiting while a rushed camouflage is applied to his mount during the Dec 1971 Indo Pak war at Jamnagar.

I've also placed a plastic "Centy toys" Oxford Ambassador staff car next to the aircraft. This was the standard issue Staff car for all Indian armed forces. A completed pic of the actual aircraft is attached. The base is card and pain and the camouflage on the tarmac is typical of the period.
