1/48 Hobby Craft CF-100 Canuck Mk IV

A commission build. Customer wanted a MK IV Canuck. 440 squadron as flown by the RCAF back in the late 50s in Germany. I started with the Hobby Craft kit. Its not only the greatest 1/48 version of this model, its the ONLY one I can find. I think a vacuum form one may have been done decades ago, but I have never seen it. This kit is typical Hobby Craft, questionable detail but at the end of the day Hasegawa is NOT going to come out with this kit. So I will build it and like it.

In fact these kits are becoming harder and harder to find. I used Canucks all ready sold out decals for this one. I had planned on using them for my own kits in the stash, but the customer wanted 440 squadron so that is what he gets.

I also included a couple photos of a past build I did. It represents a version of this same squadron a year or so after the new one I just built. (see photos directly above and below)
