Here's a few pics of two L-18's I completed a couple of years ago for the Robert Cameron Air Force.

Both models are the 1:72 offerings from Special Hobby. CPA is finished to represent the first L-18 operated by Canadian Pacific Airlines in the olive drab scheme it had when acquired from the military. BTZ represents a machine from Yukon Southern Air Transport, from the same era. (1940-ish). BTZ is in a natural metal finish using Humbrol Metal Kote # 27001, polished to a sheen with Peek metal polish.

The decals represent the colourful three dimensional markings and company titles that were favoured by Grant McConachie for use by both companies, but were later disallowed by Canada Transport. Decals are from J-Bot.

The pictures were taken on Bob's backyard patio this past winter.
