Simple little model with a very low parts count. Turned out much better then I thought it would. The Bell 47 was used heavily by many Western forces in the 50s. Canada bought 3. One was damaged early in service and was used for spare parts. The other two were mostly used as training aircraft getting Canadians up to speed in the use of these new style of aircraft,

The two survivors went on to RC Navy use, then were sold off to civilian use. At least one survived and is now at the National Museum in Ottawa. The kit itself has a very low parts count and very simple to build. However this is one that you might find benefits from pre-painting everything. After all, its mostly just tubes holding everything together.

I added a couple lengths of metal grating to represent the platforms stretchers could be mounted to. The decals are from the spare bin. I love how the seat looks like a giant Chesterfield. Another add on is the plate the Canadian national roundel is placed on. Its an American Star and bar painted yellow and glued to the framework.
