PT-19
Cornell, Venezuela Air Force
Continuing with the commemoration in 2020, of 100 Year Anniversary of the Venezuela Air Force.
Nearly 5,000 Fairchild PT-19 Cornell aircraft were produced and used as basic primary training aircraft by the United States Air Force during World War II, and were also used by the air forces of Canada, Brazil, Norway, Ecuador, Chile, and Venezuela.
Twenty (20) of these basic training aircraft were received by the Escuela de la Aviacion Militar (Venezuela Military Aviation School) in 1941, under the "loan and lease" agreement between Venezuela and the United States.

The model I built is the "PT-19 Cornell" from Planet Models in 1/48 scale, it is 100% resin. The paint used is acrylic from Model Master (Testor), basically a mixture of silver and aluminum. The decals were homemade.
