This
kit I first time built at least
15 years ago. It wasn’t
on level I could leave in my display case, so it laid for years in box with
another competed kits of similar age. Finally I decided to use it for some
masking-painting practice. I stripped paint (using sodium hydroxide), re-filled
seams, rescribed some panel lines, made wheel well and cooler inserts to avoid
open view to cockpit. I choose to paint model as aircraft made for France Vichy
forces and used by Italians.

The
basic camouflage was french with Vichy marking on nose, tail and wings
overpainted with italian green and gray. I used Agama alcohol based colors.
Decals were printed using laser printer on clear or white decal sheet. For
setting decals I used future, for panel lines emphasizing future tinted with
brown and black. Final coat was airbrushed Humbrol satin varnish, exhaust and
gunpowder stains were done with pastel chalk.
Happy
modelling
