P-38J-25 44-23675  485th FS, 370FG
Pilot  Maj.Paul Sabo
He is officially credited with 1.333 kills by the Air Force. He never got offical credit for all the kills he claimed.

All sources I have have state this serial number. But when checking photos of this aircraft I noticed it had the landing light in the leading edge of the wing like the L model would have. After looking up the serial number I found that is was in the last 100 J-25's built. So my guess is that production had made some changes to the line before they changed the designation to L.
