I was always delighted with the lines of this elegant design. I bought this kit for a very fair price  knowing that I would have to do some extra work. I began re scribing some of the panel lines (they were raised) and raiding the spares box for items that may look closer to the original. The model is not completely accurate, neither are my additions. Some time ago, I found I have a sort of sense of balance between the need for more accuracy and detail and the goal of being able to enjoy my building time without too much stress. As with many other modelers, my time is limited as are my resources; but, most of all, I wanted to recover the sense of joy I had when I was a child building model planes. As an adult, I also aspire to improve and learn more, but fun is first, if the results are more or less acceptable.

After (of course!) building this model I found out about the Revell 1/72 rendition, but I was never able to find it available for sale (like many other Revell gems, like the Junkers F.13)
I have a special thing for strange shapes, other ways to develop and explore new possibilities in design.
Among the pieces I added/reworked are the cannon barrels, pitot tube, landing gear bays and details and cockpit. The colors of the plane I'm afraid are not accurate. decals were sparse and barely acceptable.
