1/32 Revell MIG-29UB

I build jet & helicopter models and sell them on ebay.com every month.

I love this jet so much, Lucky I have one to build.  I bought the jet from Germany last year on ebay. This jet has good detail including recessed lines on the fuselage. But poor detail in the cockpit instrument panels and the seats. Because I can't find any resin for this Mig-29UB version, I thought it was better  to keep the canopy down.  I put some mirrors inside the canopy and modified the ejection seats little bit.  I'm still confused on how I should color the nozzle area like the real one, so I just used "Burned Iron" for the step-1, and spray "Burned Metal" lightly for step-2 and then use "Aluminum color" with dry brush for the last step.

The seams between parts are good and I just use a little bit of putty. Only when I went to put the intakes did I find a 1.5mm gap.

The color of the fuselage is "Fulcrum Grey" and "Fulcrum Grey Green" from Model masters. And the wash was done with Dark Grey water color mixed with liquid soaps.

I use "Future" to make all transparent parts shiny including the canopy. I also detailed the landing gear with some tiny plastic strings that were easy to find at "Michaels" or some tiny wire that you can find at "Radio Shack" or sometimes I just use my hair.

Well, After you see the 1st picture above.. what do you think ? is that the real jet or toys ;) See ya later with my F-18C Hornet.
