Back
again on ARC to continue to show you non French aircraft in French markings,
this time the wonderful Crusader that was intensively used by our French navy,
the “Aéronavale”.
I
have detailed as much as I could the landing gear boxes as they are particularly visible on this aircraft.

The
n° 27 has particularity few Crusaders regarding its paint scheme, I have
found a photo where markings are in French despite a typical US Navy white/grey
paint scheme, so it is possible to perform it with the decals furnished in the
Hasegawa box. Later on they were all painted in full grey paint scheme.
Few
work on the cockpit, a Flying Anvil ejection seat plus some few details added.

Wing
folding system has been completely scratched, nothing impossible, just be
patient. There will be soon a complete article about this on master194.com (in
French, sorry).
N°
27 has been destroyed on March 30th, 1995, it did swallow the flame
sting of it’s leader, pilot ejected safely. At this time it had been
modernized and was in full grey paint scheme.
So
Mr Hasegawa, what about a brand new F100 and T33 ?
Laurent
