This is the first
model I am showing on the web. I buiIt this Mustang from a Revell kit, and decided
to make it "out of the box" but war-weary using the following method:
First of all, I
applied a plain metallic tone. Before applying the well-known
"olive drab", I greased the entire plane with butter using my finger.
Thanks to that, the green color was easy to chip.

I used Tamiya
acrilic colors, starting with a dark shade, then I mixed it with white and
yellow tones in order to lighten the center of the panels.
The quality of this kit is not
very high -given its low price, I didn't expect anything else (5.99€)- but I prefer
to focus on the painting than on details, which you can barely see when the
model is finished, and I am pretty satisfied with the final
result!
