1/72 Academy F-16A

Hello,

This is my first submission to the ARC website with a “what-if” Malaysian Air Force aerobatic display team. I submitted a fictional plane as I don’t have the resources and skills to build very accurate and “real” aircraft seen on the ARC site.

The plane was built OOB and painted with a can of household appliance spray paint. The decals were homemade and printed on decal paper. I left out washing the panel lines as pictures of the Tamiya F-16 thunderbirds showed a very clean plane without highlighted panel lines (it’s just an excuse… the real reason is I was scared to mess it up).  The tarmac (learned from ARC) is an old framed poster painted with house wall paint, scribed the lines and washed with oil paint. The ‘grass’ is moss/algae from the garden coated with Future.

Thanks ARC for inspiring me to built model planes and shifting me away from model cars.

KH
