Here is my F-16A
built from the Hasegawa Kit. The model was basically built out of the box, with
the exception of minor scratchbuilding in the cockpit, the Python IV missiles, and
after-market decals. The kit has an exceptional fit, I really had no
headache building it. The paint scheme was done using Model Masters paint from
Testors. Some weathering was applied with a wash of water-based black after the
post shading. The Python IV missiles come from Eagle Designs, and the
decals from Aztec.

I used as reference,
pictures taken myself of a/c FAV4226, based in Base Aerea El Libertador in
2003, where the Falcons have their nest. They are operated and by Grupo Aereo de Caza
Nr. 16, and have been protecting the Venezuelan's sky for over 23 years.
Actually, I built
this kit not only because I'm impressed by the F-16's performance, but by the
unique camouflage worn by the FAV's Falcons. Soon I will be posting a
F-16B with impressive tail art commemorating the 20th anniversary in FAV
service.
I hope you enjoy it.
