1/25 AMT/ERTL American Lefrance Fire Pumper

Gallery Article by Alfonso Barajas on Dec 27 2006

Hi Everyone, this is my first submission in the ARC gallery section and I'd like to introduce this Fire pumper from the 70`s.  As you all know AMT/ERTL Re-released in the last year the 3 fire engines from their collection and as a fan of the rescue vehicles, I couldn't let pass the chance have them, so here I am.

From the beginning my idea was to do it with markings of my city fire department Monterrey Nuevo Leon Mexico, so this is the result, more than the model offers I made a lot of scratch built details most of all in the hoses area and use to a few reflective tape.

The decals where home made with the help of a cousin that made the local emblem, the letters came from the models decal sheet, also the light bar was scratch using some styrene and Leds, the hoses are simple shoe strings in brown color.

Hope you liked

Greetings

Alfonso
