Here is my Academy
1/48 scale MiG 29 Fulcrum A. It took my about two months to get all the necessary
items I needed for this Slovak Air Force MiG 29 from Sliac Air Base. I used
the Aires cockpit set, Quickboost correct nose and also Eduard exterior photo etched set.
I chose the original soviet camouflage which is applied on some
Slovak MiGs, so I used Model Master Fulcrum gray and Fulcrum green Gray paint.
Plus brand new Tally Ho! decals, which was released this spring, was used for this
Slovak "Tiger".

I decided to open the air
brake where I added some hand made details like hydraulic hoses. I closed
upper jet intakes, because I did not find any photo etched
replacement and those in the box did not seem to me to be in scale. I
used dark wash for panel lines and some little dry brush in front of
the canopy and in cockpit.
I did not arm
my "Tiger", cause it is very rare to see Slovak MiG with
anti-aircraft missiles.
