1/32 Revell Tornado

Hello !!

This was a very important project to me, because I like the Tornados a lot in all their paint schemes.  Nevertheless, for me, the Italian version is something special.

I spent nine months more or less on it.  In the middle I had to wait for the decals and other things to arrive.

The Revel kit is excellent, anyway I did some modifications/improvements:

  • Ejection seats from Paragon

  • Flaps, slats, wing gloves from Paragon

  • Access ladder from Paragon

  • Pilot figure from Reheat

  • Decals from Tauro decals

  • Mirrors from Aeroclub

  • Second chaff/flare dispenser from Monogram

  • Kormoran missiles from scratch

  • Cannons from scratch

I used Testors paints in all the cases, future for gloss and model master flat clear at the end.

The kit does not include the kormorans but fortunately does include the pylons for them. I have to admit that Paragon did a great job with the aftermarket items for this kit.

Great kit but it is hard to find a place for 1/32 BIG planes.

Happy modeling and please teach the hobby to young people.

Greetings from Monterrey, Mexico!!
