--------------------

In the early 80's the 466th FS at Hill AFB had some of the slickest camo scheme Thuds that ever existed.  They decided up on a wrap around camo scheme to go with their low-level penetration mission.  Three of the jets that had the more unique schemes are represented here on the Twobobs sheet.

A/C 62-4301 - This jet carries the My Karma nose art and is painted in a Euro 1 style camo scheme.  It shows the markings it wore in September of 1983

A/C 62-4299 - This jet has an earth tone "desert" scheme on it and carries nose art that depicts the "Desert Fox".  Markings for April 1983 are represented on this jet.

A/C 62-4347 - The 'High Time Thud' is jet #3.  This aircraft shows markings applied on June 1983. This jet had the most hours of any Thunderchief in the world at the time.  "Stardust 6" is the nose art that was painted on this particular jet.

It's important to note that the relevant dates are provided for these jets since their schemes changed from time to time.  How do the Twobobs know this you ask?  Reference material was provided by Paul Osborne and Jack Douglas.  Jack was a crew chief back in the day on these jets and he actually painted the nose art on Stardust 6 and Desert Fox.  He provided the Two Bobs with some particulars on these jets.

The guy that REALLY helped though was Paul Osborne.  These aircraft were a true labor of love for him and he has documented these jets to the "Nth Degree".

The decals are contained on one decal sheet.  You get enough stencils to do all 3 F-105's featured on this decal sheet.  Some of the decals are 2 layer decals to ensure perfect register.  My review sample has perfect register and very crisp printing quality.  All three planes have some sort of nose art as you can see on the image directly to the right.  Now is your chance to build a colourful "Thud".

This sheet is available through http://www.twobobs.net/ and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.  Remember, shipping is always FREE to US Customers at Twobobs!!
