This new decal
sheet from Cutting
Edge Modelworks includes markings for two different 1/32 Fw-190's. The recommended kits for these decals is the
1/32 Hasegawa Fw-190A-8 kit.
The first aircraft is a Fw-190A-7
with Sturmstaffel 1 Salzwedel in April 1944. This plane is white 14 (the
#14 has a black outline) and the paint scheme is a camo scheme of
RLM 74/75 on top and RLM 76 on the underside. There is a green and grey mottling on the side of the fuselage. There is a
black and white fuselage band on the
rear of the fuselage (almost looks like D-day stripes that the Allies used).
The lower engine cowl panel is RLM 04 yellow. The prop cone is black with a
very tight white spiral that is
included as a decal. There is nose art consisting of a unit badge which is
a shield of a hand holding a lightning bolt.
The
second aircraft is a Fw-190F-8 with an unknown unit on the western front in
1945.
This plane is yellow 11 (the #11 has a black outline) and the paint scheme is a camo scheme of
RLM 75/83 on top and RLM 76 on the underside.
