The
second aircraft is a PB4Y
VPB-106 Privateer from
Westbrook Field, Palawan, Philipine Islands in May-July 1945. The paint scheme is
Non-Specular Sea Blue on top, Intermediate Blue on the sides and
Non-Specular White on the underside. There is yellow script on
the
side of the forward fuselage that reads "The Super-chief" and in front of that is
a sexy side view of a nude brunette lady with breasts fully exposed wearing a
naval officers white hat. The
artwork for this aircraft has a white decal to go underneath the noseart decal.
This aircraft also has Japanese flag kill markings and below the
ring of the upper turret is the white text "Honey- Bunnie".
The noseart decals are delicate and two are included
for each plane in case
you mess up the first ones. Exacting
instructions are included on how to prepare and install these decals…..read
these instructions carefully to avoid disaster. Apparently these noseart decals are very thin and need
special care, but once installed they will look very accurate and realistic.
The nose art decals are printed on a one piece decal sheet, so you’ll
need to cut the decal free from the rest of the decal film…..patience is the
key here. The noseart decal is
beautifully printed with fantastic detail and lovely shading.
