IsraDecal's 1/48 scale Mohawk decal sheet coincides with their 1/72 scale release and features eight of the eleven aircraft options that are featured in sheet IAF-51. The options offered include Vietnam War vintage Matt Olive Drab f.s.34088 OV-1B aircraft 62-5872 of 73rd Aviation Company, OV-1C is 66-18887 of the 131st SAC and a final shark mouth OV-1C 61-2691.  Three overall f.s.36300 gray OV-1D aircraft are provided; Argentinean Army shark mouth aircraft 62-5887, US Army shark mouth last flight Mohawk 62-5874 and a third in service Mohawk based in Germany prior to the Gulf War. The last two markings on the sheet are for Israeli Air Force overall f.s.34088 Olive Drab OV-1D 69-17021 (4X-JRA) and f.s.30095 brown over f.s.36375 Light Ghost gray 68-16993 (4X-JRB).

A two page full color instruction sheet provides multiple views of the aircraft that aid the modeler in painting and decal placement of the aircraft they choose to model. The over 80 decals are printed by Cartograf in Italy and are all in perfect register and clarity. Unlike previous releases of the markings offered in the IsraDecal sheet, dimensions for the decals were taken by directly printing test shots of the decal art and applying it to the Roden family of Mohawk kits. The same attention to accuracy has been insured by obtaining the required software to duplicate the lettering front styles required for the markings.

Please note that the small addendum sheet that features the Mohawk Indian figure is printed on a solid clear decal backing. Each marking on this addendum sheet must be cut out individually prior to placing it in water. So don't place your Mohawks on the "to do" shelve, these decals just yell out to be applied to the Roden kit.
