This new decal sheet from Model Alliance features 4 aircraft....all RAF Tempest.  All 4 of these aircraft are post war planes.....3 from the late '40's and one from 1951.

The first aircraft is a RAF Tempest F.2 PR533, '5R.V', RAF Kuala Lumpur, Malaya, 1949-50.  This aircraft is painted overall aluminium with a blue spinner with white back plate and a black anti-glare panel.  Code letters on the sides of the fuselage are 5R V.

The second aircraft is a RAF Tempest F.6 NX185, 'O' of 213 Squadron, Deversoir, Egypt in August 1949.  This aircraft is painted overall Dark Earth and Light slate Grey on the upper surfaces and Medium Sea Grey on the undersurfaces.  It has a red spinner with white back plate.  Code letter on the sides of the fuselage are O.  There is a squadron crest artwork on the tail.

The third aircraft is a RAF Tempest Mk.II PR790, 'EG D' of 16 Squadron, RAF Fassbeurg, Germany in the Winter of 1946-47.  This aircraft is painted Dark Green and Ocean Grey on the upper surfaces and Medium Sea Grey on the undersurfaces.  It has a red spinner.  Code letter on the sides of the fuselage are EG D.

The fourth aircraft is a RAF Tempest F.2 PR772, '5R D' of 33 Squadron, RAF Kuala Lumpur, Malaya, 1951.  This aircraft is painted Dark Green and Dark Sea Grey on the upper surfaces and PRU Blue on the undersurfaces.  It has a red spinner.  Code letter on the sides of the fuselage are 5R D.

The instructions are straight forward and also include painting instructions for the interior which is helpful.

The decals themselves are flawlessly printed and very clearly printed on the 1/72 and 1/48 samples I have before me.  Colours look solid and should cover very well, but the decals appear thin and of a very high quality.  Some decals are done in 2 layers to ensure perfect registration.

There are 6 pages of instruction sheets with 4 view colour drawings of each aircraft.  This is a fine decal sheet and a welcome treat for people interested in building this famous post war aircraft.
