1/48 & 1/32 A-7D Molar Marauder decal sheet

Product # 48-195/32-055

Product Article by Steve Bamford on Mar 5 2012

This sheet from Twobobs is a combo sheet (48th/32nd) of one of the most unique schemes you'll ever see on a USAF Corsair.

These markings only existed on the aircraft for one day and were removed after the commander of this unit saw this scheme sitting on his ramp at Korat RTAFB during the Vietnam Conflict.

Designed and painted by an actual model builder and photographed and documented by more model builders, we're happy to pull all the pieces together to capture this unique time in history with this decal sheet.

Two complete sets of markings (one in each scale) and sized for the Hasegawa and new Trumpeter kits.

Recommended Kits:

1/48th-1/32nd Scale

  • Hasegawa A-7D Corsair II

  • Trumpeter A-7D Corsair II

  • Aires Accessories

  • Eduard Detail Set

  • Verlinden Update Set

The instructions are clear and include 4 views of each aircraft.  The decals are beautifully printed on 1 decal sheet.  Paint codes are called out in FS #'s, Testors MM, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo and Xtracrylics.

I would like to thank Twobobs for this review sample.

This sheet is available through the Twobobs website and select US Hobby Shops.  Overseas customers can purchase these from Twobobs site or through Twobobs network of overseas distributors.
