Product Article by Dave Johnson on July 2010

Wolfpack Design from Korea resent releases have included a couple of =
sets that have been designed for Hasegawa's 1/32 release of the Ki-44II =
Otsu Shoki with the 40mm Ho-301 cannon. The second release is a upgrade =
set of the Ho-301 cannons which can be used on any of the Shoki =
releases. The set includes everything that you require, if you were =
unlucky and missed out on the limited issue of the Ki-44II Otsu with the =
40mm cannons which is now discounted from Hasegawa. The set is design to =
show off the Ho-301 cannons either in the wing or out. The set includes =
24 parts that have been casted in light gray resin and 6 photo etch =
parts. The casing has been excellently done, with no air bubbles or =
flash anywhere on the parts. There is some minor surgery required if you =
wish to place the cannons into the wing. The set supplies cannons, =
mounts for the magazines, props, 4 rounds of ammo, coverless barrels, =
lower panels and photo etched parts for the access panels covers. The =
standard release of the ST30 1/32 Ki-44 Hei Shoki =
(http://www.hlj.com/product/HSGST30) has all the other parts required =
supplied in the kit if you wish to build this variant. The parts you =
mainly require are the early style front canopy and telescopic gun =
sight. You will need to replace the lower panels with the resin parts =
that are supplied in Cannon Set from Wolfpack. The low price of the =
upgrade set is worth every cent for what you receive.

I would like to thank HobbyLink Japan (www.hlj.com) for the review =
