This
sheet from
Leading
Edge Models includes
a large number of Canadian C-130 E/H, because you get individual serial numbers
to permit you to mix and match and build almost any C-130 E/H currently in the
Canadian inventory.
Plus you get
tail art for "Open Skies" "413 Squadron" "100 Years of
Flight in Canada" thus pretty well covering anything currently in the CAF
Herc fleet including (Winnipeg & Greenwood lettering) as well as
aircraft operating in Afghanistan and the KC-130 tankers. This sheet also
includes markings for the highest flight hoursC-130 Hercules #315 in
it's retirement scheme in 1995 after 30 years of operational service in over 50
countries and it was also the first coalition aircraft into Sarajevo in 1992.
The 3 pages of instructions are clear
and include side profiles for 3 different CAF Hercs wearing different tail art
to assist you with decal placement. The decals are beautifully printed on 2
decal sheets with a smaller insert decal sheet. One complete set of stencils is included on this decal
sheet...there are alot of stencils on a CAF C-130. The instructions also
show the location for the refueling pods on the KC-130's and goes into all the
tiny helpful details about painting the prop tips, removing certain windows on
certain C-130 versions etc.
This is a great
sheet and is sure to be popular with modellers wanting to add a CAF C-130 or KC-130
to their display case.
I would like to
thank Leading
Edge Models for
providing me with this review sample.
