Special
thanks goes to Tom Faletti, Matt Bittner, John Kelly, Ed Mautner, Stephen Lawson
and Stephen Gilbert for their help on this decal sheet.
The
2 aircraft include colorful striped Spad schemes.
-
Spad
13 C.1 "Shamrock" flown by Lt. Dawson with the 94th Aero
Squadron at FT. Alexander, Coblenz Germany in April 1919.
-
Spad
13 C.1 "Barber Pole" flown by Lt. "Red" Outcault
with the 94th Aero Squadron at FT. Alexander, Coblenz Germany in April 1919.
The 3 pages of instructions are
clear and include color views of all areas of each aircraft. One of those
pages is full of text detailing step by step how to accurately complete your
Eduard Spad 13 C.1 kit. The decals
are beautifully printed on 1 good sized decal sheet which includes all the stripes
and all the markings you need for both aircraft. Both of these paint
schemes with their wild bold stripes are sure to be an eye catcher on your
finished model. It's fantastic to see both of these 94th
Aero Squadron Spads on one decal sheet and the fact you can build both aircraft with
this one decal sheet leaves me with a big smile on my face. This sheet is
sure to be a big hit with modellers of WW1 era aircraft.
I would like to
thank Starfighter
Decals for
providing me with this review sample.
