This latest release from Lifelike Decals features four different Albatros D.III/V's.  This is Part 2 of  a series dealing with the Albatros D.III/V from June 1917 to June 1918.

The 4 aircraft include an enjoyable variety of colourful German markings from the Great War.

  • Albatros D Va flown by Vfw Karl Hopt, Jasta 76b, Habsheim, around March 1918

  • Albatros D V flown by LT. d. R. Josef Veltjens, Jasta 18, Baltare, February 1918

  • Albatros D Va flown by LT. Max Nather, Jasta 62, Baltare, April to June 1918

  • Albatros D III flown by LT. d. R. Werner Voss, Jasta 5, Krefeld, June 1917

The quality of these decals is very good .  The decals themselves are clearly printed and in perfect register.  Some decals come in 2 layers to ensure perfect registration.

A very interesting addition to the instruction sheets is 1 page devoted to the different propellers used and what they look like......16 different propellers are included on this instruction sheet.  You get 2 views of each view and side view plus a partial view of the underside of the lower wing.

This decal sheet hits  a home run in it's choice of markings...all 4 aircraft look excellent and it will be difficult to pick which one to build first.

You can purchase these decals either directly from Lifelike Decals at fax number is +81-3-5680-6733, and e-mail is or from HobbyLink Japan.
