Andrew Desautels is here with the third model in his Wild Weasel series.  This is his 1/72 F-105G Wild Weasel with a resin cockpit and other modifications to improve on the accuracy of his F-105G Wild Weasel.  Andrew finished it as a Vietnam War jet using decals from 2 different manufacturers including sharks mouth markings.  Andrew explains more of the Wild Weasel history for this jet as well as the improved weapons load.  I'm really enjoying his Wild Weasel series.

Carl Jarosz has done an exceptional job on his 1/144 Skyline Models Boeing 737-400 Western Pacific Airlines “Spirit of Durango” Livery.  This was a complicated build due to the big artwork decals, but Carl pulled it off with skill and determination.  A beautiful build.

Vanuatu Independence Day

I'd like to wish a Happy Birthday to ARC Moderator Mad Mike Happy Birthday Mike!!!

Andrew Desautels starts today with his 2nd Wild Weasel in his series of 5.  This is his 1/72 EF-105F Wild Weasel with many mods to make it an accurate EF-105F Wild Weasel.  Andrew also used the Pavla resin cockpit to improve the cockpit detailing and added a weapons load to show the true purpose of this jet.  Andrew finished it in a SEA camo scheme as seen in Vietnam with a nicely done weathering job.  I'm really am enjoying Andrew's Wild Weasel series and it is interesting to read his background history on these Wild Weasel jets.

Scott Vomacka is here with his stunning bare metal foil 1/48 Trumpeter F-100F Super Sabre.  Scott added resin seats to dress up the cockpit but it is his bare metal finish and colorful markings that really make this model stand out.  Scott has some well honed talent at applying foil finishes to his models.

Klaasjan Schuuring has built a great looking 1/32 Special Hobby Hawker Tempest II High Tech.  This is not an easy kit to build due to poor fit, but in the hands of a persistent modeler, it does build into a fine looking Tempest as you will see in Klaasjan's photos.  The addition of extra detailing parts makes this a very interesting kit to build.

Francisco "Block50" Gutierrez joins us from Chile with his first model on ARC.  This is his amazing 1/48 G.W.H F-15I Ra´am.  Francisco had a very busy time detailing, weathering and finishing his beautiful Ra´am which included over 500 stencil decals.
