  • Steve Hewitt joins us with his 1/48 Hasegawa Messerschmitt Bf 109F2.  Steve really likes these Hasegawa 109 and on this one he added an Aires cokcpit as well as some other detailing to further improve his 109.  The end result looks quite good. 

  • Alexandre Kostadinovic is here with his 1/72 Yumo Soko G-4 Super Galeb.  Alexandre did some extra scratchbuilding to improve the smaller details on this kit.  The finished model is very realistic looking.

  • Eric Bade has dropped by with his 1/72 Hasegawa Dewoitine D-520.  This is one of the top French fighters during WW2 and Eric has chosen the early war French markings.  Nice one Eric.....good to see.

  • Virgil Manalo joins us with his first article on ARC.  This is Virgil's excellently done Philippine Air Force1/48 Hasegawa F-8E Crusader.  He built his F-8 OOB with some very fine weathering and finished it with Albatros decals.  Welcome to ARC Virgil!!!

  • Jojo B Cruz starts your week with his 1/72 Hasegawa F/A-18F Superhornet.  This jet is 1/72 but that didn't stop Jojo from doing up the weathering to perfection.  And consider this....it's brush painted!!  Stunning!!! 

  • Peter Brown is here today with his 1/48 Eduard Hawker Tempest V.  I've got a big soft spot for these D-Day aircraft and Peter did this one up right with chipped paint, weathering and fluid leak stains.   

  • J.C. Bahr has dropped by with his 1/72 Lockheed F-104C.  J.C. finished his F-104 in a baremetal finish using SNJ, which gave him wonderful results.  J.C. tells about building this model and you'll find his pointers helpful if you ever build this kit.  Nice one J.C.

  • Dave Cornett starts today with his 1/32 German F-4F Phantom II Wild Horse.  Dave used some Eduard photo etch and other items to further detail his big colourful Phantom to create his very striking jet.

  • Patrick Bessonies is here with his 1/48 Hasegawa P47-D Thunderbolt.  Patrick has made very good use of the ARC Tools n Tips section when building his P-47 and this shows in the very fine finished model he created. 

  • Fernan De Gannes has dropped by today with his 1/48 Hasegawa A-7DFernan put plenty of very good effort into his A-7 and although this is a very good kit, he has improved it in some very important areas.  Read his article for more into about building his beautiful A-7.

  • Laurent “Angus” Beauvais starts today with his  1/48 Fonderie Miniatures Piasecki H21 Flying Banana.  Angus is building a selection of non-Frence aircraft flown by French Forces.  A well done interior on this sharp looking H-21.

  • Craig Sargent joins us from New Zealand 1/72 Hasegawa F-111G RAAF.  Craig did a very careful build of his F-111 to make sure he got as many details correct as he could.  His article provides aircraft history as well as info on changes he made to this model to make his RAAF F-111.  

  • Maneli Parsy is here with his 1/72 Italeri P-51D.  Maneli spent 2 years building his Mustang.....without using an airbrush.....the bare metal finish was all done with foil.  The finished model has quite the attractive bare metal finish. 

  • Yu Guo has dropped by today with his 1/72 Trumpeter S-37 (Su-47) 'Berkut'Yu built this beauty in just 20 days and in hi article he mentions a few of the things that aren't quite right on the kit to help you if you decide to build one of these beauties.

  • Michael Woodgate is here from downunder with his 1/48 Hasegawa P-40E.  Michael used some Red Roo's Decals to finish his WW2 fighter and finally finished it off with exhaust and  gun powder weathering.  Nice one Michael.

  • Kenny Loup begins today with his 1/48 Hobbycraft Hawker Sea Hurricane.  Kenny did some extra work to make this a Sea Hurricane from the Hobbycraft kit and finished it off with D-Day stripes....which is a refreshing change from the usual Hurricane paint scheme. 

  • Polly Singh is here with his 1/72 Indian MiG Collection.  I'm quite surprised by the variety of MiG's flown by the Indian Air Force....Polly has put much effort into his Indian MiG Collection.  Quite the impressive sight.

  • Raymond Utter joins us today with his 1/72 Trumpeter Tu-142MR.  Raymond was determined to not have to do a  bare metal finish on his bear and he pulled it off.  It's a real difference to see a Bear in Grey paint.   

  • Phil Hastie is here with his sweet looking 1/72 Hasegawa F-16A Blk 10 in South Carolina ANG markings.  Phil started working on this one a number of years ago, so his article has the full story on that.  But the effort rewarded Phil with an attractive looking F-16. 

  • Pongpeera Thiapairat joins us with his big 1/32 Revell Fw-190D9.  Pongpeera did some excellent work on the paint job on his Dora....including painting most of the markings.  Nice one Pongpeera.

  • David Fredericks starts the update this Fathers Day with his 1/72 ESCI Armée de l’Air F100D.  David did some extra work to this older kit to bring it up to a higher standard, then he finished it off in French Air Force markings on a multi-shaded bare metal finish.  Quite effective. 

  • Chris Novak is here today with another of his cut-away Bf-109's.  This is Chris's 1/32 Hasegawa Bf-109 G6 with a cut-away wing and fuselage.  Another beauty from Chris.

I spent the day redoing the ARC submission pages.  I've added images that will help to explain this simple process much better.  Please have a look.....I think you will be amazed how easy it is to submit article to ARC.

  • Tolga Ulgur begins today with his 1/48 Monogram / Heinkel He-111 H 6.  Tolga did his usual excellent job on his He-111 and he was smart to use the Cutting Edge Black magic canopy mask for the greenhouse canopy.

  • Jean-Luc Caut is here with photos of his 1/32 Black Box F-16C Cockpit.  You're going to love the detail of this finished cockpit set.  Jean-Luc has done an outstanding job on this one.

  • Matt Bacon has dropped by with his 1/48 Aeroclub DHC.1 Chipmunk.  Matt put the effort into this injection molded limited run kit.  Although this kit required a bit of effort, Matt's finished model was well worth the effort. 

  • Jirka Vrabec joins us today with his wildly painted 1/48 Italeri EF2000The paint scheme on this one will make you grin....make sure you check out the flame job.

  • Yvan Vansteenkiste is here with his 1/35 Trumpeter Mil Mi-8.  van pre-shaded the panel lines and he's included pictures of what pre-shading looks like as you do it.  Yvan finished model captures the look m of this chopper very well.

  • Charles E. Johnson starts today with 2 of his 1/48 Academy CH-46's.  Charles built one in the 2 tone gray scheme and one on the desert scheme in USMC markings.  Both came out looking quite nice.

  • Pierrig Salaün  is here with his 1/72 Fine Molds Jedi Starfighter.  These Fine Molds kits are very sweet and well worth buying if you like Star Wars.  Pierrig did a great job on his starfighter.  I love Sci-Fi and this one rocks.

  • Anthony Manzoli is here from Australia with his 1/48 Tamiya Beaufighter.  Anthony's Beaufighter is beautifully finished with tail art in Aussie markings from the RAAF during WW2. 

  • Paolo Yuen joins us from Hong Kong with his 1/48 Academy Su-27 UB that he detailed with resin and photo etch parts and some subtle weathering to finish off the Russian markings.

  • Craig Sargent starts today with the final part of his 1/48 Monogram AV-8B Harrier II+ article.  You'll enjoy seeing the rest of Craig's full build conversion of his Harrier.  This one is a beauty.

  • Rafi Ben-Shahar joins us with his 1/48 Dragon Ju 88A-17Rafi put plenty of effort into his Ju-88 as you'll see in his article and then he finished it with one of the trickiest paint schemes he could have chosen.

  • Stephen Prior  is here with his 1/48 Tamiya F-84G ThunderjetStephen built this one out of the box but the high detail level of this kit gives very good results.  He then finished it off with very colourful markings. 

  • Phil Hastie is here with his 1/48 Airfix Spitfire VbThis particular Spitfire was flown by a New Zealander.  Phil cut open the door on his Spit which always improves the ability to see into the cockpit.  Nice job on the detailing ands weathering Phil.  

  • Jed ‘Jedi’ Jenson joins us with his 1/32 Tamiya F-16CJ.  This model looks exactly like the real thing in every way....check out the cockpit and especially the landing gear bays. 

  • Marcelo Irigoyen joins us from Argentina with his Scratchbuilt 1/16 Bell UH-1H I can't even imagine the effort to scratchbuild such a model....well done Marcelo. 

  • Robert Blaschke is here with his Tools n Tips article on Scratchbuilding F-100 Supersabre ladder.  Robert's article is very complete and includes detail drawings and in-progress photos.

  • Craig Sargent is here with his 1/48 Monogram AV-8B Harrier II+ (Part 1).  Craig built this one the hard way......I admire that.  The end result was well worth his effort.  I'll run part 2 tomorrow.

  • Lance Braman joins us with his aircraft related model.  This is his 1/72 Revell Sd.Kfz. 9 Famo with 8.8cm Flak 36 anti-aircraft gun from WW2.  This model required much effort and scratchbuilding on by lance to create this effective and quite nasty weapon.  Nice one Lance.

  • J.C. Bahr joins us with his 1/72 Hasegawa Me-262aThis is a model of the actual 262 at the NASM.  J.C. did a splendid job on his 262.

  • David Fredericks joins us with his 1/72 Gabon Air Force Skyraider ‘Last Spads’This is a Spad flown during the '80's.  David goes into the background of the aircraft and the building process for his attractive looking Spad.

  • Geoff Pereira starts off today with his 1/48 Academy Me-109 G6.  Geoff built his 109 out of the box.....but that didn't prevent him from getting a attractive looking model of this famous Luftwaffe fighter. 

  • Dave Cornett joins us with his very eye catching 1/32 Academy CAF CF-18 Hornet Tiger Meet 1992. Dave added RBF tags and other details and finished off his Hornet with one of the most eye catching Tiger scheme.

  • Dan Salamone is here to give you a look at his 1/48 Hasegawa A6M5 Zero nightfighter.  Dan is no stranger to building perfect looking models and his Zero is no exception.  This special night fighter version required some work to create and Dan talks about this in his article.

  • Charles Leung has dropped by with his 1/72 Trumpeter J-10A.  This is the new Chinese fighter and Charles detailed the look of his J-10A into a great looking model of this jet fighter. 

  • Albert Moore has been busy building his 1/72 Italeri MH-47E Chinook.  Albert did a bunch of work to modify his Chinook into a MH-47E.  Albert goes into detail in his article about what was involved to build this gem.
